It turns out that China blocks blogspot, so we will be posting by a combination of direct email to blogger and my personal tech god Scott. So we won't be able to check out what we've posted until we get back -- but then, we'll be here in person.
Highlights to date: unexpectedly flying here by way of the North Pole; successfully clearing the quarantine; Jeffrey throwing up on the bus from the airport shortly after the aforementioned clearance; Rikki, Aaron, and Hope going out for dumplings; Tom & Aaron going out for billiards; the fact that Aaron is drinking age here; Tian'amen Square; the Forbidden City; The Summer Palace, where Hope somehow got left behind (picture of Tom on the dragon boat that Hope coincidentally shot out of sheer sightseeing compulsiveness to follow); a Brazilian meal, of all things, with the traditional Brazilian bellydancer.
